Arrests after BNP attend protests

A man has been arrested and charged with a breach of the peace following a rally in Dalkeith, Midlothian, attended by BNP leader Nick Griffin.
About 30 protesters gathered objecting to the BNP's presence at the demonstration, organised by local residents demanding the rehousing of convicted rapist Robert Greens.
Meanwhile six people were detained for public order offences in Glasgow.
The arrests were made at an "Alliance of Nationalists" rally.
A Strathclyde Police spokeswoman said six men aged between 40 and 65 were arrested at the Buchanan Street demonstration.
Five men were detained in police custody and expected
