The cause of the fire is being investigated
Five children and two adults were treated for smoke inhalation in hospital after a fire in County Durham.
The blaze broke out in the bedroom of a house on Chestnut Grove in Roddymoor, near Crook, just after 9:30 BST.
It took firefighters and two fire engines about an hour and a half to put the fire out.
Two children and one adult were taken to Darlington Hospital, one adult and three children were taken to the University Hospital of North Durham.
