Sporting Kansas City kept pace with Houston Dynamo on top of the MLS Eastern Conference on Saturday with a 1-0 win over New England.
In a tight tussle at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts it was the visitors who came away with the three points thanks to Teal Bunbury's 20th-minute strike.The win moved Sporting equal with Eastern Conference leaders Houston on 40 points.Elsewhere in the Eastern Conference, Chicago Fire enjoyed a 2-1 home win over lowly Toronto FC.The visitors left the crowd in Illinois stunned in the early going with a 16th-minute goal from Jamaican striker Ryan Johnson
