Court Suspends Dana Crash Inquest, Giving Grieving Families OK to Retrieve Loved Ones

A Coroner’s inquest into the cause of death of 153 passengers on board DANA flight 0992 which crashed into a residential area at Iju-Ishaga on June 3, has been suspended to permit the retrieval of the bodies from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital morgue, it was announced today.
The decision consents to the plea by Mr. Akinjide Bakare, counsel to the Ministry of Justice, that the court allow the break so that the next of kin could collect the bodies of their loved ones from the morgue. The inquest is to continue after
