Hundreds of dancers will take part in the carnival parade on Sunday
Thousands of people are expected to attend the annual Caribbean Carnival in Nottingham on Saturday and Sunday.
The event at Forest Recreation Ground will include music, food, a fun fair and a two-hour parade on Sunday.
A spokesman said hundreds of volunteers had helped to prepare this year's carnival costumes.
Carnival Chairman Richard Renwick said: "We expect to have a fantastic carnival parade... we know that hundreds of dancers will be very energetic."
The parade will start at 14:00 BST on Sunday at Castle Gate and
