The Conference of Nigerian Political Parties (CNPP) has called on the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to apologize to Nigerians for the fuel subsidy fiasco, and permit justice to be done.
In a statement signed by Osita Okechukwu, its National Publicity Secretary, CNPP described the handling of the Fuel Subsidy Financial Profile between 2006 and 2011 by PDP governments as “embarrassing, despicable and unconscionable.”
The Conference was reacting to a statement made yesterday by the National Deputy Chairman of the PDP, Dr Sam Jaja about the involvement of party members in the matter.
